"We chose infrared touch technology because it does not degrade image quality, there's no film on top of the display," comments Director of Operations Kevin Hara. The new option is multi-platform (Windows and Macintosh capable) and does not interfere with normal operation of the plasma. "People are drawn to it. Initially they're scared to touch such a large piece of equipment, but once they get a taste of the total immersion that's possible with such a large screen they really get to experience the content in a brand new way." Interactive devices not only attract visitors to a tradeshow booth, but they retain them longer.
