Multitouch technology is fast becoming the most requested form of touchscreens. Inititally brought to public attention in a fascinating and creative fashion, the Microsoft Surface table features this technology. Not long after, Apple introduced the now ubiquitous iPhone. This is perhaps the most recognized and oft implemented form of multitouch technology in the consumer sector. Another popular utilization of multitouch technology that is easily recognizable can be found on cable news networks. The 2008 Presidential Election coverage was enhanced on many news networks by featuring multiple forms of multitouch technology, some utilizing the same products that Muse offers as multitouch rental hardware.

Muse offers multitouch overlays that allow a user to interact with content using more then one point of contact on the display. The overlays allow for a clear image on the display by utilizing infrared technology so that nothing actually covers the image. The overlays that we rent for exhibits, events and tradeshows are retrofits for existing displays, meaning most any of the displays in our rental inventory are available with a multitouch option, including the awesome Panasonic 85" and 103" plasma displays.

Another form of multitouch technology that Muse is proud to offer as rental equipment along with out famed quality of service is the HP Touchsmart All In One PC's, in 22", 23" and 25" sizes. These computers are tiny powerhouses, featuring both a desk stand and wall mount option. The 23" and 25" systems features a blu-ray playback option, 1920x1200 and 1920x1080 resolution on a crystal clear and vivid lcd, and a simple, quick installation. Multitouch functionality on these rental units is enabled via content specially produced by Avery Marketing and Lifescience Media, two highly regarded production firms that have worked with Muse on many tradeshow projects in the past. Windows 7 will offer many options for multitouch functionality as well.
